Dharmasraya has great potential in the Village Waste Bank sector located in Sitiung V, Sitiung District, a community-based productive economic partner engaged in the management of household inorganic waste. With an average waste production reaching ± 1.5 tons per day. Based on the composition of waste generation, approximately 32% is inorganic waste with economic value such as plastic, paper, cardboard, and metal. However, the current management capacity of the Waste Bank only reaches ± 420 kg per month or less than 10% of the available inorganic waste potential. The selling price of recycled materials is still fluctuating and tends to be lower due to the suboptimal quality of sorting. Existingly, the operational system is still carried out manually starting from recording member savings, weighing, to recapitulation of sales results. This condition has implications for the potential for recording errors of 5-10%, delays in financial reports, and low transaction transparency. In addition, the lack of a waste volume monitoring system causes storage capacity to be often uncontrolled, which affects material quality and lowers selling prices by 8-12% below market prices. Member participation is also suboptimal, with an average attendance of approximately 60% of registered members making deposits. Downstream, dependence on a single collector results in relatively low bargaining power for partners. Nevertheless, partners have potential, including support from the village government, operational land of approximately 150 m², an active organizational structure consisting of eight administrators, and a robust community network.
