This community service program aimed to assist farmer groups in implementing a Decision Support System for determining agricultural selling prices to address subjective and non-cost-based pricing practices. The main problem identified was the absence of systematic cost recording, resulting in uncertainty regarding the cost of production and potential financial losses. The program applied a participatory approach consisting of observation, cost identification and documentation, development of a Microsoft Excel-based system, training, simulation, and monitoring and evaluation. The developed system automatically calculates the cost of production, adds the desired profit margin, generates selling price recommendations, and provides margin simulation features. The results indicate that all production cost components were systematically documented and that farmers are now able to determine selling prices in a rational and transparent manner. Decision-making shifted from intuition-based to data-driven practices. The program contributed to improved financial literacy, stronger negotiation capacity, and the potential for increased profit margins and greater price stability.
