Abstract

The Community Service Program entitled E-Commerce Training for Local Agricultural and Livestock Products was implemented to support the digital transformation of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the agricultural and livestock sectors in Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya Regency. The main challenges included low digital literacy, absence of online marketplace stores, inadequate product packaging standards, and lack of structured transaction recording. This program aimed to enhance partners’ capacity in utilizing e-commerce through digital literacy improvement, product standardization, online store development, and simple digital transaction recording. The implementation employed a participatory and applicative approach based on learning by doing, including socialization, digital transformation training, packaging improvement, marketplace store mentoring, and monitoring. The results indicate that approximately 75% of products adopted improved packaging, 85% of transactions were routinely recorded, and one active online store was established with more than 15 uploaded products. The program also generated an initial revenue increase of 20–25% and strengthened participants’ confidence in using digital technology. Overall, the initiative effectively enhanced production, management, and digital marketing capacities, providing a sustainable foundation for long-term business development.
