Students' Learning Motivation Analysis of Class X on Distance Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Gubug

The research is motivated by the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which raises various problems, especially for the application of distance learning program that requires students to carry out learning at home. The problem that discussed in this study is the level of learning motivation of 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Gubug in distance learning program. The purpose of this research is to discover the factors that motivate students to participate in the learning program. This research used qualitative with a case study method. Respondents in this study were 3 students of 11th grade at SMA Negeri 1 Gubug, 3 parents of the respondents, 1 guidance and counselling teacher, and 3 homeroom teachers of the respondents. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the analysis results of the research shows that the learning motivation of each student is different from another. Overall, the highest learning motivation is having a strong will to study, then having clear goals to achieve and also the desire to succeed, having conducive environment and the last is having the ability to solve problems. Subjects who have high learning motivation will be more capable to follow the learning process well, while those who have low learning motivation will find it difficult to follow the distance learning process. Suggestions from the researcher are for the family and teachers to pay more attention to the children/students and maintain good communication so that they can stay motivated in learning process.

Utilization of YouTube Media to Increase Student Motivation and Learning Outcomes in Network Systems Administration Subjects

Youtube as one of the video sharing sites has various features that support it to be used as an interesting learning media, researchers will conduct PTK related to how much benefit this site will have if it is used as a learning medium in class XI TKJ1 SMKN 7 Sijunjung in the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This research consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. Implementation of actions using internet media and using other Information Technology equipment with uploading methods. The results showed that at the end of the first and second cycles the average activity and learning outcomes of students increased continuously from one meeting to the next, These results show that student activities and learning outcomes can be improved by utilizing Youtube media, which means this media can be applied so that students can develop their respective competencies.

The Value of Character Education in Short Stories in the High Grade Elementary School Indonesian Language Module and Its Relevance to Learning at SDN 03 Tiumang

This research is motivated by the eroding phenomena of the value of character education that occur in the school environment at this time. Therefore, this study aims to describe the values of character education contained in the short stories in the high grade Indonesian Language Module at SDN 03 Tiumang and their relevance to the school environment. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive analysis method. The data sources of this research are short stories in the Indonesian Language Module class IV and V SDN 03 Tiumang, namely the short story Dayu and Ornamental Fish, Air Pollution, Working Together in Diversity and Differences Are Not Barriers.. Data collection techniques by: (1) Reading and understanding short stories, (2) searching for data containing character education values in short stories, (3) inventorying, identifying, and classifying data with character education values. The results of this study indicate that there are 18 data, namely the value of discipline character education (3), the value of responsible character education (4), the value of independent character education (2), the value of environmental care character education (1), the value of creative character education (3) , the value of religious character education (3), the value of tolerance character education (2). So there are 18 sentences of character education values in the short story.

Determining Achievement Scholarship Recipients Using the Simple Additive Weighting Method

SMA Negeri 1 Koto Salak is one of the school institutions that provides scholarships to its students. However, the determination of scholarship recipients is still done by collecting or viewing the scholarship registration file, which consists of the average value of the report card, the number of siblings, active in the organization and the economically disadvantaged. So that the school is difficult to determine the priority of which students are entitled to a scholarship because of the large number of scholarship applicants. This study aims to analyze, design and build a Decision Support System for receiving merit scholarships using the Simple Additive Weighting method. This method is the method used in finding the weighted sum of the performance ratings on each alternative, in this case those who are entitled to receive scholarships based on the recipient criteria. With this, the assessment will be more accurate because it is based on predetermined criteria and weights.

Evaluation Analysis of the Use of the TikTok Application Using the System Usability Scale (SUS) Method

TikTok is a social media platform that offers short videos ranging from 15 seconds to 3 minutes in length. It remains the most widely used social media platform among Indonesian users. This study aims to analyze user ratings of the usability (ease of use) of the TikTok application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Usability assessment is crucial in application development to ensure that users can easily interact with and benefit from the provided features. The scale comprises 10 statements assessed using a Likert scale, ranging from strongly agree to strongly disagree. The collected assessment data will be analyzed quantitatively to gain a deeper understanding of the usefulness of the TikTok application. The data collection technique employed was a questionnaire created using Google Forms and distributed to 30 respondents. The study's results indicate that the TikTok application has acceptable usability, with a grade of "B" and a descriptive rating of "Good," based on the average score of 74 obtained from the questionnaire.

Flash-Based Interactive Learning Media Design at SLB Koto Agung aims to provide skills in the design of attractive interactive learning media in an easy way. By mastering interactive learning media by teachers, it is hoped that it can trigger students' interest to be more enthusiastic in participating in lessons, and in the end it will improve the overall quality of learning. In this study, the application of learning at SLB Koto Agung which has been done manually or not yet computerized which allows there are still many shortcomings in the teaching and learning process. The research method used is observation and interviews. The result of this research is the design of interactive learning media that has the ability to provide convenience for teachers in delivering material to students.
