Pengaruh Model Technology Based Training Terhadap Keterampilan Shooting Pada Siswa Ekstrakulikuler Di SMP 8 Kota Bima

Students’ shooting skills in the football extracurricular program at SMPN 8 Kota Bima remain suboptimal, particularly in terms of accuracy, body positioning, concentration, and technical proficiency. This condition is associated with the use of conventional training methods that provide limited measurable feedback, making it difficult for students to identify and correct technical errors. This study aimed to examine the effect of a technology-based training model on students’ shooting skills. The study employed an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test control group design. A total of 18 students were included as the sample using a total sampling technique and were divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through shooting skill tests, observation, and documentation, with assessments covering accuracy, power, and technique. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s test, paired-sample t-test, and independent-sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the mean score of the experimental group increased from 8.22 to 19.88, with an N-Gain score of 0.6957, while the control group increased from 8.66 to 14.88, with an N-Gain score of 0.3836. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p < 0.05). Therefore, technology-based training had a significant effect on improving students’ shooting skills and can serve as an innovative alternative training method for football extracurricular activities.
