Abstrak

Tujuan pengabdian adalah memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai transisi karier atlet pencak silat pelajar yang diproyeksikan menjadi atlet mahasiswa di wilayah Kabupaten Malang. Transisi karier adalah proses penyesuaian diri yang dialami oleh atlet ketika mengalami perubahan karier, termasuk dari atlet pelajar menuju mahasiswa. Kegagalan menyesuaikan diri dalam transisi karier dapat menyebabkan berbagai krisis, penurunan performa olahraga dan akademik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berusaha memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan agar atlet pelajar siap menghadapi transisi karier menuju mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah dan visualisasi kreatif karier, dimana atlet memvisualisasikan proses integrasi antara masa lalu, karier saat ini dan karier masa depan. Implikasi pengabdian dan potensi penelitian di bidang transisi karier juga dibahas di dalam artikel.
