The Existence of Village Regulations in the Indonesian Legislative System

Abstract

In order to improve the realization of national development, community participation is required, including village communities, especially in the era of regional autonomy in the dynamics of democracy today. Therefore, regulation in the village at the regional regulation level is very much needed. Long before the state and nation were formed, the village was the forerunner to the formation of a political society and government in Indonesia. Unique character is the hallmark of each village and has a different tradition for each village which can carry out government functions as well as possible. Village regulations are the authority possessed by each village and each village must carry out village government based on regulations. The research method in this research is normative juridical law research. The problem in this research is the position of village regulations in the constitutional system in Indonesia. The research method in this research is normative juridical law research. From this research, it can be concluded that the Village Regulation is a legal instrument for implementing Village Government in carrying out Village authority. So that the Village Regulation according to Law no. 6 of 2014 serves to organize Village Government in terms of village authority to regulate the implementation of authority based on origin rights and local authority at Village scale, as well as Stipulate the types and hierarchies of Laws and Regulations in Indonesia in order to provide a good and clear rule order.
