MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM SOLVING IN THE AI ERA USING DISCOVERY BASED TEXTBOOKS FOR PROSPECTIVE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya problem solving skill calon guru SD, namun sangat dibutuhkan di era AI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penggunaan buku ajar berbasis penemuan pada materi geometri terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah calon guru SD di Universitas Adzkia. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan design pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru SD di Universitas Adzkia sebanyak 23 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes berupa 10 soal esai. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data maka diperoleh thitung = 12.402 > ttabel 1.721 dengan db = (n-1) dan taraf signifikan 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan “terdapat pengaruh buku ajar berbasis penemuan terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika calon guru SD di Universitas Adzkia.
