Abstract

This research focuses on the development of mathematics learning tools for System of Linear Equations Two Variables (SPLDV) material using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. The main objective was to produce high quality learning tools in terms of validity and practicality, as well as measuring their impact on student learning outcomes. In the development process, researchers successfully designed three main components of learning devices: Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Learner Worksheet (LKPD), and Learning Outcome Test (THB). The quality of these devices was assessed through qualitative and quantitative validation by experts. The validation results showed a very good level of validity. The lesson plan obtained an average score of 4.16, the LKPD reached 3.98, and the THB received a score of 3. The experts and educational practitioners also stated that this learning tool was feasible to be applied at the junior high school level. The practicality of the device is proven through several stages. Observations of lesson plan implementation obtained an average score of 4, indicating excellent implementation. In the individual (one to one) and small group trial stages, all students were able to use the learning device effectively. Based on observations of the learning process and students' responses, this tool proved to have the potential to improve students' math skills. Through interviews at the small group stage, the majority of students revealed that the learning tool with the TGT model for SPLDV material was very interesting and able to motivate their enthusiasm for learning mathematics.
